The IRON ARMADILLO® RF1 Standalone Super Light-Weight Ballistic Plate offers an ultra-lightweight rifle-caliber ballistic plate crafted from high-quality ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), weighing only 2.9 lbs per plate—half the weight of traditional ceramic plates. This new, high-strength PE fiber allows you to maintain maximum mobility while providing direct ballistic protection against popular rifle rounds at close range, including 5.56 NATO M193, 7.62x39mm MSC, and even full-power 7.62 NATO rounds.
